Hank

Hank Kaneshige

Bassist, Singer, Songwriter

Hank grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey and discovered his passion to be a musician. Like his childhood friend and current bandmate Mike Carlone, it all started when Hank first heard The Beatles in 1964. Hanks says “The fact that girls were going crazy for them cemented his future path.” Hank’s time with local band The Lost Souls, and musicians Carlone, Ron Ducoli and Kenny Lewis was not only the foundation for a lifetime of music, but afforded him friendships that are cherished to this day.

After missing most of the 70's and early 90's raising a family, Hank found himself back on the horse singing and playing guitar and bass and has never looked back. Hank considered himself blessed to have been given a second shot at the profession he’s loved most.

From 2001 to 2014, Hank hooked up with Blues Hall of Famer Chaz DePaoplo and went on numerous tours of Europe and Canada. Also Hank has reunited with The Lost Souls and has played with numerous blues bands in the northern New Jersey area, most notably The Blue Dawg Band out of Bayonne. In addition to the blues bands, Hank can be found most weekends playing acoustic guitar and singing as a soloist or in a duo in just about every Bayonne venue.

Hank joined Endgame with Mike Carlone and Tom Mitchell in 2016 as bassist and vocalist. Shortly after, keyboardist Lou Di Falco and vocalist Chelsea Rose joined the band. In addition to his bass playing and singing, Hank has contributed a number of compositions to the band including Gypsy Moon from their first album that proved to be very popular in Brazil.

Joining EndGame has been not only a pleasure, but an honor for Hank. He states “these fine musicians have brought out the best in me, and I am forever grateful.”
